Auctions of Damaged and Unclaimed Loose-in-the-Mails Items Items: Auctions of damaged or unclaimed items are held periodically at each of the Mail Recovery Centers.
Auctions of damaged or unclaimed items are held periodically at each of the Mail Recovery Centers. Auctions usually start at 10:00 am and bidders may view the merchandise one-hour before the actual bidding process begins. Merchandise is sold in lots and not by individual item. Catalogs may be purchased for a nominal fee on the day of the sale.
These are exiting auction, as you never know what will be available. There are three Centers where these auctions take place, Georgia, Minnesota and California, but only the Georgia center will be used for this in 2002.
We provide you with the contacts, and dates of the auction, directly from the source.
